Answer +

Seven Starling accepts most commercial insurance plans. Book a free consult here with one of our friendly care coordinators and they can check your insurance benefits directly as well as help you get started. Coverage varies by state, but some of the plans we accept include Anthem, Aetna, Cigna, CareFirst, United Healthcare, Kaiser, and Blue Cross Blue Shield. We do not accept Medicaid at this time.

We offer support for out-of-network reimbursement and have a care team on hand to help explain how it works and provide the paperwork you'll need. We'll check these benefits on your consult as well so you can have the full picture of what you're eligible for.

Our therapists have been qualified and certified by their state of licensure after completion of the necessary education, exams, and training.

Who is Seven Starling a good fit for?

Answer +

close -

Seven Starling is designed for people experiencing Anxiety, Depression or Trauma during fertility challenges, pregnancy loss, abortion, pregnancy, postpartum, or early parenthood. In order to join Seven Starling you must be 18 years or older and currently reside in one of the states we support. Book a free consult with one of our friendly Care Coordinators to see if we're available in your area and to get your insurance benefits checked.

Seven Starling is not a good fit for people looking for emergency support or for people who have a history of Schizophrenia, Psychosis or Bipolar disorder. We strongly believe the best care model for these conditions is in person care and encourage you to seek support. Visit the "Resources" tab on our website to browse trusted alternative resources.

What is group therapy?

Answer +

close -

Group therapy is a form of psychotherapy in which a small group of participants meet to discuss their experiences with a licensed therapist. Groups are a safe space to harness your support network of other women on the same journey as you. In each session, your group therapist will share educational and self care tools and you'll have the option to discuss your experience or just listen.

How am I matched to a group?

Answer +

close -

If group therapy is part of your care plan, you are matched with your group of 10 or less based on what you're currently experiencing (e.g., pregnant, postpartum, experiencing loss), state of residence, schedule, and therapy goals. We take all of these factors into consideration when choosing the best group for you.

Does Seven Starling offer medication management?

Answer +

Yes! Many women suffering from maternal mental health challenges can benefit from a combination of therapy and medication. Offering this service at Seven Starling is part of our holistic approach to care and we’re thrilled to make accessing it even easier. Note: At this time we’re not able to offer medications to pregnant patients. Pregnant patients who think they might benefit from medication should consult their OB care provider.
