Seven Starling took flight to champion the strength and freedom of all mothers.

Motherhood is a beautiful, messy, fulfilling journey.

It is a groundswell of emotions, from the highest highs and lowest lows, that unlocks meaning and motivation in our everyday lives.

It also brings lots of questions and unchartered territories, leading to moments of immense growth and transformation.

15-minute prenatal appointments leave questions unanswered.
Limited access to trusted experts leads to 2 hours+ daily googling.

Lack of social support has driven postpartum depression and anxiety rates up to 50%.
Black women face 3-4x higher maternal mortality risk than white women.

We believe mothers deserve the best support in navigating this pivotal time.

Seven Starling is committed to helping you discover your way through motherhood.

Our inspiration is drawn from the community that comes forth when a child is brought into our world.

Extended families, close friends and neighbors have rallied together as our support systems for generations.

Tina Beilinson

Co-Founder & CEO

Tina has had a knack for taking the road less traveled since Day 1. She was born in Almaty, Kazakhstan, where she grew up until her family was granted asylum into the US at age six. She's inspired by her own parents who did everything they could to make ends meet in an unfamiliar place, and the small village of family and friends that was around to support them. In her free time, she enjoys getting lost in a new city, listening to live music, and entertaining friends at home.

Carly Bravo

Certified Nurse Midwife, Education Lead

As a Midwife, Carly recognizes that the transformation to parenthood is much more than simply the birth alone. She enjoys working with families to have an integrated, and empowered pregnancy, birth, and postpartum experience. Carly believes in shared decision making, recognizing that while she has formal training in Midwifery, the people she cares for are the experts in their own bodies and their own specific physical, emotional, and informational needs. While not working, Carly can be found hiking, cooking, or enjoying a day time dance party.

Dr. Nazaneen Homaifar

Board-Certified OB/GYN, Medical Director

Nazaneen cannot remember a time when she didn't dream of being a doctor. It took some time away from medicine, while in business school, for her to realize that obstetrics and gynecology was her calling. She feels the most impact when she is working to empower women to feel greater ownership over their healthcare decisions. When not using every diplomatic tactic to negotiate with her toddler girls, she enjoys painting and was most proud of a family effort entitled “Lady Quarantina” inspired by lockdown.

Dr. Amy Rice

Licensed Clinical Psychologist, Maternal Mental Health Advisor

Amy first knew she was interested in working with babies at age 3 when her younger brother was born, and she proclaimed to the world that he was “her baby” and proceeded to carry him around the house and put him down for bedtimes. Giving thought to midwifery and early childhood development, Amy moved across the continent to pursue a doctoral degree in clinical psychology with a pre-perinatal specialty. Attending the only school in the world that offered that focus, Amy gained invaluable knowledge about the sanctity of the parent-child relationship from the earliest moments of conception through postpartum development. Amy has been working with new and expecting families for over 15 years, and as a clinical psychologist sees no greater gift than the privilege of helping prospective and new parents navigate this sacred transition.

Starlings always flock in groups. By following their seven closest neighbors, Starlings flock together to create beautiful and mesmerizing formations in the sky called murmurations. For us, these whimsical birds represent the feeling of freedom and strength we hope to bring to our community. A constant reminder that together, with our flock, we can achieve a vision far greater than ourselves.
