Who is in my group and how do I get matched?

Seven Starling groups are built to create lasting connections. Your group includes up to 10 other parents with a similar due date as you. We also take a number of other factors into account, including your goals, preferences, and more! Get started by completing our quiz.

Who will my coach be?

After you sign up for Seven Starling, you'll meet 1:1 with our Head of Member Experience to get matched with a great coach that will help you achieve your goals. All Seven Starling Coaches are experienced Doulas and most are also Childbirth Educators (& more!). Get to know our coaches here.

When should I start my membership?

Get started as early as 8 weeks and as late as 3 months into parenthood. Your coach will tailor your program to the stage you're at and support you up to 1 year into parenthood (& growing!). See more about the topics we cover here by stage.

Does a Seven Starling membership replace Childbirth Education classes?

Yes! Our memberships cover all of the core childbirth education topics, including stages of labor, pain management options, what to bring, and more. Our curriculum is OBGYN-approved and designed to help you feel prepared and confident, going beyond traditional childbirth ed to cover topics like newborn safety, pelvic floor strength, and the emotional and physical changes that accompany pregnancy and early parenthood. I've already had my baby, is a Seven Starling membership right for me?

Absolutely! Parenthood is when $#!+ gets real and you'll need support more than ever. Our parenthood small groups meet bi-weekly with content designed specifically for your stage (think feeding, sleeping, mental health, or just having some space to vent!). Join one of our parenthood groups up to 1 month after your delivery and get support for up to 1 year -- there's no need to figure it out alone! Check out our parenthood memberships here.

What if I can't make it to one of my live sessions?

The foundation of Seven Starling is the small group experience, so we highly encourage you to attend your live sessions if you can! That said, we know life gets in the way. Your program is full of lessons, video learnings, and exercises to help you catch up if you miss a session. And, your dedicated expert is always there via chat for questions you have!

Can my partner join the live sessions?

We love to involve partners and will let you know which sessions are best for them to join. We design specific sessions around conversations where we think it's important for partners to attend (your expert will remind you when those are!). Partners are welcome at all Seven Starling classes, and we even have one specifically for them! See our Class list here.

Most commercial health plans reimburse up to $150 for childbirth education classes. This means you can get a few months of Full Circle pregnancy membership or up to a few classes reimbursed, as long as they cover childbirth education content. Every health plan differs though and we encourage you to reach out to your plan to confirm what is included in your policy. We know insurance can be confusing -- we're here to help!  Just send us a note at support@sevenstarling.com and we can help you coordinate our out-of-network reimbursement.

Is my Seven Starling membership or class FSA or HSA eligible?

Yes! Our OBGYN-approved program is designed to support expecting and new parents through every step of the journey. For example, parents that join by the 3rd trimester will learn all of the core childbirth education topics, including the Stages of Labor, Pain Management Techniques, Labor Positions, and more.

Is Seven Starling a fit for someone who has already given birth?
