"I was so excited when I heard about Seven Starling. I see an incredible need for high quality mental health care for my postpartum patients. The pandemic has created a degree of social isolation that is challenging for postpartum moms so I am particularly excited by the blend of individual and group therapy!" - Dr. Lauren Messinger (Washington D.C)

Dr. Nazaneen Homaifar

Board-Certified OB/GYN, Medical Director

Nazaneen cannot remember a time when she didn't dream of being a doctor. It took some time away from medicine, while in business school, for her to realize that obstetrics and gynecology was her calling. She feels the most impact when she is working to empower women to feel greater ownership over their healthcare decisions. When not using every diplomatic tactic to negotiate with her toddler girls, she enjoys painting and was most proud of a family effort entitled “Lady Quarantina” inspired by lockdown.

Group therapy is a form of psychotherapy in which a small group of participants meet to discuss their experiences with a licensed therapist. We recommend care plans with group therapy included as an option for many of our postpartum patients.
